Chad Nusbaum

Chief Technology Officer

Chad’s career vision has been to create, improve and leverage technologies for maximal impact in key scientific areas. He came to Cellarity from the Broad Institute, where he served many roles over the years. Most recently at Broad he was the founding Senior Director of the Broad Technology Labs, an internal innovation hub that he built to create powerful new capabilities in genomics and technology and to make them available to the research community. As Chief Technology Officer at Cellarity, Chad is continuing this theme of fit-for-purpose data and innovative data generation processes as the engine of scientific progress. To this end, data generation is configured to propel the science forward, while technology development creates opportunities for previously unreachable scientific achievements.

Chad earned his AB at Columbia University, his PhD at MIT and completed postdoctoral training at the University of California, Berkeley.
